MOOCs and Open Education is an edifying and promising new book having to do with massively open online courses and open educational resources. Learning technology has swiftly grown in terms of interactivity and the capacity to reach humans all around the world since the emergence of the Internet. The life-changing technological impact of the Internet allows powerful kinds of communication and interaction which are essential for digital education technology. There are not many trends in electronic education technology over the past half-century that can match the sudden arrival of these massively open online courses. We can no longer cover MOOCs with one definition because there are many different categories of MOOC courses.
