MOOCs and Open Education Around the World is a dramatic and promising new edited collection pertaining to massive open online courses (MOOC) and open education resources (OERs). Learning technology has rapidly developed in terms of interactivity and the capability to reach learners all around the world since the emergence of the Internet. The life-changing technological influence of the World Wide Web allows types of communication and interaction which are essential for distance learning technology.
