MOOCs and Open Education Around the World is an edifying and promising new edited collection about massive open online courses (MOOCs) and open education resources. Technology-enhanced learning has rapidly evolved in terms of interactivity and the ability to reach students in all parts of the world since the emergence of the Internet. The life-changing technological impact of the World Wide Web provides powerful types of communication and interaction which are essential for online education.
