MOOCs and Open Education Around the World is an interesting and promising edited collection pertaining to massively open online courses and open education resources (OERs). Digital educational technology has rapidly advanced in terms of interactivity and the capability to reach people all over the world since the emergence of the Internet. The life-changing technological influence of the information superhighway offers forms of communication and interaction which are essential for education.
