MOOCs and Open Education is an educative and promising edited collection having to do with massive open online courses (MOOC) and open educational resources (OERs). Distance learning technology has swiftly progressed in terms of interactivity and the ability to reach students all over the world since the emergence of the Internet. The transformational technological impact of the World Wide Web provides kinds of communication and interaction which are essential for elearning technology. There are scarcely any trends in electronic education technology over the past few decades that can match the sudden arrival of MOOC courses.
